A BiDi (Bidirectional) optical module is a transceiver that enables simultaneous two-way data transmission over a single optical fiber using different wavelengths.OverviewBiDi optical modules, also called bidirectional optical modules, are specialized optical transceivers designed to transmit and receive data on a single fiber rather than using separate fibers for each direction .
