These systems support flanged reels from 400 to 4000 mm and speeds from 3 to 500 m/min. They can be equipped with torque or speed control, electronic detection systems, and adjustable traverse mechanisms, making them ideal for high-density fiber optic cable handling .Comprex provides traversing take-ups for continuous cable production, featuring automatic switching from full to empty spools, high rotation speeds up to 30 m/s (180 m/min), and integrated tension compensators. These systems can operate in constant tension mode for larger cables or with a tension compensator for smaller fiber cables, ensuring safe and precise winding .Davis-Standard and Maillefer offer dual reel take-ups and flyer pay-offs for fiber optic cables, supporting high-speed, fully automatic operation with reel handling options, optical traverse control, and compatibility with various cable diameters and reel weights .High-Density FTTH Cable FramesFor fiber distribution and management, Corning's Centrix™ System provides a high-density intelligent frame supporting up to 4,320 LC or 2,880 SC ports per 7-ft frame.
