Indoor boxes should be mounted 1.2–2.5 meters above the ground, while outdoor boxes are typically 2.8–3.2 meters high. Avoid unstable walls, water pipes, high-voltage cables, and areas with heavy pedestrian traffic .Check equipment and tools: Ensure the optical fiber interface board, protective sleeves, and jumpers are complete. Prepare expansion bolts, levels, protective ground cables, cable hoses, and other necessary tools .Installing the Distribution BoxMount the box: Secure the optical distribution box to the wall or rack using expansion bolts. Ensure it is firmly fixed, horizontal, and vertical, with perpendicularity deviation not exceeding 3mm .Introduce the optical cable: Feed the fiber optic cable through the entry hole using a protective grommet or cable jacket to prevent damage.
